This is funny because I actually need these for my office at work. Of course, I don’t have it in the budget to re-decorate my office, but if these get delivered there next week I’ll be STOKED!
lol
You do realize that these orders will probably all be cancelled, right?
BTW, did either of you give them an actual credit card number? I happened to have a $25 AMEX gift card from Christmas, so I used that just in case they decided to bill me for the full price later on.

They can’t actually do that. What they can and will do is just cancel the orders. I posted it on Reddit and some kid called OfficeMax and they are evidently aware of the problem and all orders for the chairs will be canceled.
Still was pretty funny though!
Does anyone remember when Dell fucked up their PC-building system that gave everyone 2 free huge monitors? It was something ridiculous like that; happened last year. Well, they actually had to honor it for some reason and lots of people got free shit. Some people bought like 10 PCs and just ebayed the monitors. I remember the next week the ebay market was SATURATED TO SHIT with them at a super-low prices.

Lol, there was no way they weren’t going to notice a beef in the numbers; they were $329 chairs. I also didn’t think it would get frontpage popular on Reddit.. :\

just got my cancellation email, which really made the entire thing worth it. I just think its so funny that they’re deeply and sincerely apologizing about shit that no one could possibly care about. Is anyone really _inconvenienced_ by not receiving a $330 chair for free?
Over the weekend, an item was displayed on the OfficeMax.com website with an incorrect price that was inadvertently generated by an automated pricing program.
As is standard practice by all national retailers, OfficeMax disclaims offers from typographical errors. Your order ********* included item number 01221430 a Hon Wood Guest Chair, which was inadvertently shown with an incorrect price.
The correct retail price of the 01221430 is $329.99. This product was incorrectly shown with a price of $0.00.
Because the incorrect pricing is a typographical error and not a valid offer from OfficeMax, all orders relating to the incorrect price have been canceled. This includes your order noted above.
While we deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause, we ask that if you have questions about this canceled order, please call customer service at 1-877-OfficeMax.

Damn you Geddy. If you hadn’t posted it on Reddit, maybe our orders would have gone through.
The item is now showing as discontinued.
