One of my favorite Smiths tunes; this particular version off of their ‘Complete’ compilation album has a much cleaner sound to it, and a slightly different intro/outro. Pretty gnarly.
Never listened to these dudes before, but they look like four low-rent Boy Georges, so I’m not completely shocked that they’re awesome.
Evidently CKY released an album in 2009; I did not know this. And 2009 was a pretty shit year wall to wall, so it would have been cool to have known this. This is the second track off Carver City, and it’s pretty awesome. As a matter of fact, the whole album is awesome straight through. Can’t say that about too many albums. It has that classic CKY feel to it. Definitely check this out, along with the rest of the album.
So I’m pretty hooked on this song right now. A lot. In other words, I don’t like it when it’s not playing. Anyway, this track released by the Nelson brothers is pretty awesome, and you should check it out.
